Goodell, What was so hard about responding to a woman being beaten unconscious in an elevator? [View all]

By a representative (player) of the organization you lead? In an elevator - an enclosed space with no exit save being dragged into a hallway and left by a member of your organization. And that goes for the rest of the NFL hierarchy, imo.

What was so hard about a timely, appropriate response?

His press conference boggled me in its misdirection. Just a one time vent on my part. I'm leaving follow up to the pundits, law enforcement and the various NFL groups with an obvious, direct interest in the situation.
