I doubt "no drama" Obama wants much controversy at this point and I think he will pick a safe nominee. Best bets at this point are Donald Verrilli who is Solicitor General, Kathryn Ruemmler who was Obama's White House Counsel, or Preet Bharara who is U.S. Attorney for the southern district of New York. All would be safe picks.
