(57,936 posts)If Medicare is getting bills from gynecologists for women over 70, then women over 70 probably need gynecological examinations. You'd think that logic would not be beyond the guy.
Face it. He is probably impotent, doesn't know what to do about it, and that is why he is sitting bored stiff (at least one thing about him is stiff) and grouchy.
I have an obscene message for him which I will not share on DU.

Seriously. Whether a woman over 70 needs gynecological care or not is between her and her doctor. If she doesn't need it, Medicare will not be billed for it, so it is a non-issue. If she does need it, Medicare should pay for it. After all, she paid into Medicare all her working life.
I wish that these members of Congress would stop thinking about women's vaginas and investigate the pharmaceuticals and health insurance companies for overcharging.
