(6,336 posts)3. I got redistricted from NJ-6 to NJ-4
NJ-6 has a safe Democratic incumbent battling two teabaggers (there will be a primary, one was the 2010 nominee who I would call NJ's Michele Bachmann) for the nomination. I cried when I found out this would not be my district anymore.
NJ-4 had an opportunity, but IMO we blew it at the county convention. The current incumbent is one of the biggest misogynists in congress (he tried to redefine rape) and we had the chance to go at him with a woman. She lost at the convention to a man who can self-fund. IMO the only man who lives in the district with the money and name recognition to take this guy down is currently on tour (Bruce Springsteen).

Yes and he is none to supportive of the unions and up here that makes a big difference.

Also in Minnesota's Fighting Eighth. Getting Cravaack out is my top political priority this year.

I'm in AZ-9 which is a new district taking in parts of Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale.
