7. New York 26 or 27

I'm not sure, but I think my area has been redistricted. I was so thrilled when we elected Kathy Hochul in the 26th. She's the first Dem to hold the seat in years. The useless Tom Reynolds was replaced with the short-lived Christopher Lee and then we got Kathy. I think they took my town out of the mix and put us into Brian Higgins district. That's ok too because I think his re-election chances are better than Kathy's. As long as it's my rep has a "D" alongside his/her name, I'm good with it.

I'm not sure how Hochul will fare. There's a teabagger who wants the seat along with Chris Collins, the guy who just lost his job as County Executive. The district is pretty red. I hope she survives.
