And anyone on the appropriate committee can table an appointment, so presumably we still have that right.
However, I wouldn't be surprised to see them use "the nuclear option," since the criminality of the GOP in voter suppression was in full display last night and is the way several of them have gotten into office. If for some reason any shred of commitment to their constitutional oath prevails, however, I thought we'd have a few ways within the Senate to fight back. But I could be wrong.
