I'm in Iowa.

I had expected Braindead to win. He's weirdly popular and his message seemed to be "HEY! I'm not as crazy as some of the other R governors!".

But, now I am essentially without representation in the congress...or the statehouse. Every last one of them is a right wing lunatic.

I'm sick about it, but there's nothing to be done.

And right now, I don't even think there is any way out. Ever. Money wins and the forces aligned for the other side have a lot more of it than our side does.
