I've served on many juries and a large majority of the time, my vote is with the majority opinion.

“"Vaginal Vampire" Need I say more?” strikes me at first blush as somewhat of a knee jerk negative reaction to your post. Looking at the actual post would tell me if it was proper. IMHO, if the term refers to anti-women RWers, and not something negative towards women, I would have voted to leave it.

The reason I used the term "knee jerk" is it seems to me whenever the topic is something that is both highly sensitive and relates to issues about feminism, rape culture, etc. the threads are littered with highly charged rhetoric.

I generally avoid these discussions. There always seems to be an emotional component that prevents a rational discussion. In the end, what I am saying is that possibly something in your post (or just the words Vaginal Vampire) were enough to set off an emotional response. That doesn't make it correct. That's just the world you are posting in.
