Would the GOP have promoted the NRA, not just because [View all]

it is a wedge issue, but also to start a gun war in the USA. Making police terrified of being killed. Stoking a war with the people in crime filled neighbourhoods....thus ensuring that the police unions stay close to the GOP.....even after all the GOPs anti-union policies..... Do you think they think that far ahead (sorry my question mark does not work). Is that part of what is going on
