I have thought for a long while that the greatest thing about America was its ability to accept all races in a way that no other country in the world could ever do. Racism of any sort is not about equality.
Personally, I thought the election of Barack Obama was a sign that the Americans had finally climbed that mountain top, and racism, except for minor incidents, was a thing of the past.
But it seems, to look at most recent events, with the policemen killings being the most recent event, that the racism was latent in a lot of areas? And the election of Barack Obama, along with the media campaign against him, brought forth a dormant racism which we need to defeat, before it gets out of hand.
And what is the best way to fight racism??
