(31,780 posts)Hi - me!
Was it outside or inside? Outside!
What month? Middle of April.
Where? Central NJ! You know where it could be 40 and rainy on April 15th, or 72 and sunny and breezy - or 93 and hot and huuuuuuuuuuumid.
Unfortunately I got that 93 hot and humid day.
Who the fuck plans a wedding outside NOT being aware that you could have changes to precisely WHERE you get married at the said venue?
No one.
No one investing that time and money and stress is going to overlook that in their contract.
Can we be reasonable folks?
This was not a big deal. And she obviously didn't go all Bridezilla over this.
If President Obama and Michelle Obama had wanted a tour of an extremely historic inn on the day I got married - I would have understood.
But if it had been Joe and Jill Biden I would have said - AFTER the ceremony and can I pretty please have my first dance with VP Bad Ass? I promise to give him lots of ice cream!
