13. When somebody gets too many hide rates too quickly, they get themselves banned

There's an algorithm. When you have enough posts and recs, you get trusted user status. Trusted users can "Hide Rate" posts as well as rec them. There are clear guidelines for using HRs and anybody who abuses the trusted user (TU) status, will losr that status for abusing the HRs.

You only HR troll posts.

I've seen a new troll BoJoed in less than twelve seconds. Some trolls get through and post for a while, but the system eventually catches up with them.

No MIRT, no hosts, just trusted users.
