the shadow you mention is to hard edged, it's unatural and why only on that particular leg?
The reason the square army star and the headline are another color is because they were lifted off another graphic. If you look closer at the star, the perspective is wrong - it's facing more toward you than following the perspective of the sign itself.
Guaranteed photoshop.
I find it interesting that people Need this to be a real sign.
