choices were reprehensible. They understand that it matters who has the agenda. Republicans actually understand that the parties are different and vote for a Republican because that is what they think benefits them. Any voter that went out and voted for Democrats were responsible citizens that understand how the government works.

People who did not show up and make a choice are irresponsible at best.

Nobody gets exactly what they want. Often, the choices in an election are not our preferred candidate. But no matter who they are, one of those candidates will be marginally better than the other. And if two clones run on different tickets, then it really matters which side is in the majority. The majority sets the agenda.

People who want progressive or liberal polices should attempt to understand how our system works. It matters who is in power. Democrats will never pass a bill that most progressives or liberals will fall in love with, but they will pass a bill that will do some of the things they want and need done, if they have the power to set the agenda.

A progressive or liberal who wants to get things done will vote in every election, no matter what.

If they don't, they are neither progressive nor liberal.

You are missing the fact that her job is fundraising and that there isn't an election nearby. n/t FSogol Jan 2015 #2
Her job is about Wall Street Ferd Berfel Jan 2015 #8
She's raised more money for the Dems that Dean did. That's why the rw hates her. FSogol Jan 2015 #11
IT didnt' matter though, did it. Ferd Berfel Jan 2015 #13
Money? Is that all she cares about? How come with all that money, we LOST the mid terms, again? sabrina 1 Jan 2015 #19
She doesn't pick the candidates, she just raises money. You want more progessive candidates? FSogol Jan 2015 #21
We are, don't worry, voters did a good job of doing that across the country during the mid terms. sabrina 1 Jan 2015 #24
The voters are not to blame. The people who stayed home* are to blame. FSogol Jan 2015 #28

I think we are owed an appology form the 2012 voters who could not be bothered to vote in 2014. Agnosticsherbet Jan 2015 #5

You are unaware apparently of what is happening across this country. sabrina 1 Jan 2015 #25
If they don't want Republican policies vote and elect better representatives. Agnosticsherbet Jan 2015 #32
Compromise means BOTH SIDES give something up. What we see is Dems continuously compromising sabrina 1 Jan 2015 #33
So you agree that the sysem isn't working because Republians are in power and won't compromise. Agnosticsherbet Jan 2015 #34
Again, clearly people have lost faith in the system. DUers vote. But millions do not. So obviously sabrina 1 Jan 2015 #35
