Of course, the absolute collapse of the Blue Dogs tends to undercut that old argument. In 2005, there were over 30. Today, there are 14. I have no idea if Warren could win over GOP voters, but I am reasonably certain no centrist/right-wing Democrat has a prayer. If they had a chance, they'd still be in Congress.
