40. As an employee he sure as hell did earn it.

He has spent his whole life becoming the best at something. Awards are given for those things. If someone determined they will get enough advertisement out of giving him the automobile, he accomplished what was necessary to be a part of that, then he has put himself in a position to where he earned it. If it wasn't him, it would have been someone else.
