I had to tell someone or I was going to burst! After 8 years of togetherness, 7 living together (all our neighbors already assume we’re married anyway, maybe cuz we’re old farts) my wonderful boyfriend and I will go to the judge and get hitched on Valentine’s Day! This is the third time for me, 1st for Mr. Dorkzilla. He’s notoriously shy and didn’t want ANY attention at all so we’re not telling anyone besides my parents (his have passed away) and my oldest friend (who will be my witness) until after the fact. My dad is serving as his witness.

I got a cute dress off the rack and have a spangly little headband. He’ll wear whatever he wants. Then we’re off to spend a few nights with the west coast parents and off to Hawaii for a convention which will double as a honeymoon. We were taking the trip anyway.
