She is intellectually disabled and employed full time at a low wage job.
Do you think the cost of living is higher or lower for her?
Because she works, she doesn't get much from SSI, but her position is not the most secure one on the planet either.
There are a lot of things I'm sick of seeing, but SSI doesn't even make the list.

I find that hard to believe as I know people with cancer that have been denied

Did you report them? My guess is that you have no idea how hard it is to get on SS Disability. They

people I knew with serious diabilities had to wait a long long time to collect
