The lack of compassion for this man is utterly despicable and shameful.

Most poignantly, it is hypocritical to the highest degree unless you're a vegan. We who eat meat are enablers for an industry that routinely tortures millions of animals on a daily basis before they are slaughtered for our consumption. Should we also be condemned to having a bull gore us in the rectum? Maybe everybody in this thread posting such disgusting comments ought to look in the mirror before you throw your stones in the glass houses that you all live in.

This is not to make the claim that the running of the bulls is not a barbaric event that oughtn't to be discontinued. But the comments in this thread ("good", etc...) are absolutely sickening, and you all ought to be ashamed of yourselves. It's even worse that you call yourselves "progressives".
