The guy standing in the corner is an indicator that the murderer, or maybe the Blair Witch herself, is in the basement.

The white whale represents implacable nature.

The animals on the farm are all different members of Soviet society.

The bad guy is always the first person the Scooby gang sees at the haunted place. It's always just that guy. There are usually NO OTHER PEOPLE in the cartoon.
