I routinely post a qualifier to any new "FB friends" warning them in advance that I am a far left atheist socialist (even though I do post on DU - not added in my qualifier) who says what I think and that I will at some point almost certainly say something that offends them and that if they are uncomfortable with that they should go ahead and unfriend me right away. I further assure them that I won't take it personally if they do. Strangely enough, none have, even though a number of them are Republicans and/or Christians. It puzzles me why they stick around. I guess some people have a thing for masochism.
