30. Pena nieto just had someone close to him appointed to supreme court that has never been a judge.

He was governor here in mexico state before he became president and all he is concerned with is lining his and his friends pockets. Pri is corrupt. My brother in law's brother, their family lives in this same pueblo, was a driver for pena nieto's family when he was governor. He was uneducated, just his family knew the right people. While in that position he bought his brother (my brother in law) a new house, his parents a new house, he built 3 houses in this pueblo (2 unoccupied and worth 3 million pesos each), 2 lines of delivery trucks, he flew his mother and father to eat in another state, he still has a lot of money.

The point is that pena nieto is corrupt and pri bought and strongarmed the election. The unions get kickbacks and bused in people to force votes. Prices of eggs, just an example, were 14 pesos a kilo. A couple of days ago they were up to 32 pesos and they just went up to 40. Prices are skyrocketing and so is crime. The bodega where we go not far was held up at 12 noon a month ago and a man shot. they escaped in a taxi cab with no worries as the police do not come and only the criminals have guns. Close to here some people opened a small outdoors cafe and it was pretty nice. Three guys with guns went in, beat up them and the customers and told them to close. They did. People do not want competition, it's tat bad.

Sorry to rant, but pena nieto is not well liked at all by most people in mexico. With him having close ties to televisan and only 2 stations here people in the us probably can't t ell.
