Republicans love warmongers.

In the past 40 years:

Democratic Administrations:
Worked for peace between Arabs and Israelis
Worked for peace in Northern Ireland
Carter got peace prize
Al Gore got the peace prize for climate change
Good economies (except for the malaise of the 1970s - hardly the fault of Carter)
Health Care
Energy conservation
Upon retirement, do charity work (Habitat for Humanity, Clinton Foundation)

Republican Administrations:
Start unnecessary wars and invade random countries
Had the biggest terrorist actions against Americans (Beirut, World Trade Center)
Energy splurge
Economies were below par
Upon retirement, paint pictures of themselves in the bathtub and make speeches for corporation for big bucks

It's no contest. Republicans are eating themselves up with jealousy over not getting international recognition for what they've done and they can't understand why. They refuse to believe that they have to do something besides make their buddies richer.
