The doc tried to put me on paxil. In my infinite wisdom I only took 1/2 of a pill and let me tell you something. I've never in my life felt like I did for the next three days. My skin felt like it was crawling, I had involuntary body movements, could not sit still, could not hold a thought. I told my doc that if he ever gave me something like that again I'd choke him to within an inch of his life. I was pissed and when I think about it I'm still pissed about it. When I see someone that is taking one of the ssri I see them with some of the same side effects I experienced. like the involuntary body movements and clouded thoughts. doc said I was allergic to them and I said good now make damn sure that is in my medical records so I won't be given something like this again.
SSRI's should be illegal if you want to know what I think. I feel for anyone who takes them. Maybe it doesn't do to others as it did me but I've known a few who were taking them and they seemed to have the same tics as I did. 
I have anxiety and have my whole life and it was like pulling teeth to get them to give me something for that but SSRI's they would give me all I wanted if I'd wanted any. Sorry shit if you ask me.
As you can see I'm still pretty upset about all this. Sorry bastids anyway
