That could not be said any better. Ted Cruz is a clear and present danger not only to thinking Americans but to the entire well being of the country. His effect on policy would be fatal.

If you think about it, that is too limiting a way to describe Rafael Edward "Ted" Cruz (and I think Rafael is a fine old name; well seeped in tradition and history. It says a lot about how far he is willing to pander to racist nitwits when he hides his own name).
Ted Cruz is a danger to thinking. He views it with suspicion.

By choosing to accept an anointing from some cultist dominionist shamen; He is stepping into the role of Modern Messiah; an unquestionable ruler wielding social power by divine right.
Best not to think about that.
By publicly distorting scientific facts and attempting to trap actual scientists with "gotcha" questions; he is attempting to discredit thought itself. As being too muddy or uncertain for normal folks.
He wants the citizens to leave the difficult job of reigning in the "head in the cloud crowd" to him or...Best not think about it.

Thank you, Governor - Thank you! hatrack Mar 2015 #1
