Another "family values" super patriot whose speeches had no basis in reality.

Remember when Reagan liberated Auswichtz, saw the "welfare queen" wearing a fur coat and driving a new Caddy, or the "strapping young buck" (his words, not mine) collecting welfare. Oh, and if you cut taxes on the uber-rich, you will actually collect more taxes and the benefits will "trickle down" (his words again) to the middle class. There are Commies hiding in your community and your daughter will date a colored.

I am old enough to have laughed at Reagan's Presidential bid, but I will not laugh at any of them again.

The politics of fear, resentment and self-righteousness win again and again, and Ted Cruz is a master of the art.
