So, when you think about it, this is pretty much just standard operating procedure for Republicans. If a Democratic President s working on a peace deal, they do what they can to sabotage it. The only difference is that Nixon & Reagan had to do it in secret. Today's Rethuglicans can do it right out in the open, because POTUS is black, and a socialist, and we don't like the pastor at his church and he's a Muslim anyway, so hating on him is perfectly cool ... hell, last year, we even had the Democratic candidates for the Senate & House running away from the President!

Besides, making peace runs absolutely counter to EVERYTHING that Republican America believes in!
