4. The reasoning is fair.

Vicodin and Percocet contain acetaminophen, aka Tylenol, which is OK if you're taking the drugs in the correct dosages your doctor tells you to.

But because these pills are full of addictive opiates, too many people don't stick to the prescribed dosages, and when they take too much, the overdose in acetaminophen pickles people's livers.

Solution: Have the acetaminophen in a separate pill. And have a medically-based plan for dealing with addiction, not just cracking skulls and throwing people in jail.
