2. I don't think anyone's saying you're a racist.

Just that policies enacted over the years have contributed to creating an unfair system in which minorities get the shaft.

I think people should stop equating racism with the image of a klansman and start looking at it in terms of societal mobility. Despite republican claims, it is not a country where hard work & determination alone, will drive you to success.

I'm sure others will be along to post it better than I could. I think the important thing is to not generalizations personally.

EDA: we should all want our fellow Americans to be able to succeed and prosper in this country. And when we ignore those in need here, we fail as citizens.
