How many people have contributed to this discussion without considering the huge spectrum between love and hate? I neither love nor hate any race as a construct, or even individual members whom I don't know very well. I can think of only a very small number of people, all white FWIW, to whom I would apply either of those emotions. Everybody else I just treat as generic people, with reasonably reserved good will until other intents are warranted. what's wrong with that?
