(11,700 posts)14. Does it factor in the results that many progressives
no longer identify themselves as Democrats? (I canavased for and voted for Obama even though I have been an independent for years. You have to also factor in that these polls don't reach people with unlisted cell phones. (Which includes everyone I know except my mom.) You have to factor in that though these respondents consider themselves "liberal", what they know about Obama's presidency they get from the nightly news or CNN.
