Going back to the 90s and if a person had a college degree (IT), over 40, and was offshored. Happened to my husband and a coworker. They both applied to supermarket stocking jobs, janitors, and fast food. "Overqualified" was what they were told. Lower your standards as so many Repukes say? Doesn't work.
