I respect the differences of opinion and different ideas people have here and elsewhere, but I feel as if we are fighting a war for our very lives here. Because if the R's win, there will be dire consequences for our lives.

And just like in a real war, there comes a time to put aside a whole lot of internal conflict and just fight shoulder to shoulder in the trenches.

We can always go back to arguing after the election. But please, please man the trenches right now. Please let's stand shoulder-to-shoulder for the next half a year at least.
