I applied for a job with the Department of Labor in 1992. I had the interview, they like me but went with another candidate. A year later the job was open again, I applied and got the job.

I really wanted to work with that organization so I think it can be a good idea to try again.

Also, where you never heard back, yay or nay, why not try again?
