26. The issue is not whether we are going to support the Democratic Party. That's a given.

The issue is whether we are going to remain true to our Democratic principles.

In the Democratic Party, we are unlike the Republicans in that we are free to discuss issues and not march in lock-step.

President Obama is going to win this election.

If you are saying that we can no longer support closing Gitmo, if you are saying that we can no longer support free-speech without unnecessary police brutality, if you are saying that we can no longer support the prosecution of admitted war criminals, if you are saying that we cannot support an aggressive investigation of the bankers, then you are going to be disappointed.
