2. Exactly what I was thinking ... its like Mitchell was intentionaly using that word to force Cutter

to maybe deny it. Maybe to get Cutter to say, "well, Andrea, marriage is actually a civil procedure" ... or something like that.

By Andrea saying it that way she (1) reinforces that belief, and (2) creates the potential for a prolonged discussion of whether or not those who think their church marriage is the more important "procedure" should be allowed to believe so ... I can hear Andrea's follow up now ... "So, you are saying that the President doesn't think the marriage people get in the church matters??!!??"
