I didn't really dig it. I'm a bit of a softy. I harbor no illusions about the the meat I get at the store and feel if needed I could hunt to sustain myself. I really don't like venison and wild turkey was kinda gross. Maybe it's the way it was prepared. I've slaughtered a few chickens to eat before. That was doable for me. I had moose, too. Not impressed. I was raised on farm raised meat so it's just my preference, I suppose.

I'm not a fan of trophy hunting but understand how some can be done and helps cull herds or raise money for preservation. I'm fairly pragmatic when it comes to this stuff. I think it's stupid when people get outraged at a licensed kill of an old beast on a preservation and little to no attention is paid to the poachers out there that shun the rules and kill at whim.
