16. When people use "thug" as a dog whistle, it's obvious.

I doubt Obama meant it as a dog whistle.

I don't need to crawl into Rush Limbaugh's head to know that's what he means.

Limbaugh on the NBA: "Call it the TBA, the Thug Basketball Association ... They're going in to watch the Crips and the Bloods"
