46. I don't understand the vitriol and the lack of empathy, if not for him, for his children.

Nothing he did compares to what Newt Gingrich did. I was never a supporter because he did vote for the war but he is a human being and I for one, feel sorry for him.

When Bush/Cheney are pursued the way he is being pursued, I might feel differently. But since the rule of law has been abandoned in this country, I'm for 'looking forward' on this, he has kids and how will it affect them to have lost their mother and then to see their father go to jail? It will be something they will never get over. They don't deserve this. If he was unable to think of them, for whatever reason, maybe we could. Someone should. Their mother did not want any more nastiness, she had moved on and she wanted her children to have at least one parent.

I hope he is not seriously ill, and I hope they drop this case until they start going after all criminals. If he was a Republican, he'd be running for office right now.
