They think he's an intolerable tyrant now, but there are two reasons why they won't try anything now:
Reason 1: as stated above, they hope he loses the election. 'Course, if they really wanted him to lose the election they probably shouldn't have pinned their hopes on fifteen of the worst Americans to ever soil the face of the Republic.
Reason 2: they can't shoot, and know the people guarding the president CAN.
When Obama wins the election, it'll be "in 2015 when we take back the Senate and the House we'll take up arms if they don't impeach him" and in 2017 when he retires and returns to Chicago in glory it'll be "well, maybe the Mafia can kill him for all the damage he did."
