16. I don't give him too much credit for this...

His daughter is gay.

And this is the (only) reason that Dick Cheney is on the right side of the issue.

The one common factor that unites all republicans is that they have zero empathy. They cannot understand a problem unless they themselves, or someone very close to them is undergoing that exact problem.

While I'm happy that Dick Cheney doesn't hate his daughter, I'm not going to give him too much credit for it.
