but the GOP (and their Log Cabin contingent) probably believe that if they hang a shingle out that they are a LGBT rights group and at least pretend to act like one, they figure they might *might* lure some LGBTers into their fold, maybe not a lot but maybe enough to deprive Democrats of at least a few votes. It's no different then them creating affiliated groups ("window dressing&quot pretending to support women, African-Americans, Hispanics, et. al. Most people aren't going to bite but the point is not really to get people to vote for them but rather to get people to NOT vote for Dems. This may not be as much of winning strategy for them as it once was but I honestly believe that these groups are not legitimate LGBT rights groups and their motives are rather suspect.
