19 kids is a lot of kids. Not all of them are going to want to tow that "morally superior" line. A letter was left in a book at the church about it and was found by another churchgoer. Those accusations were later forwarded to Harpo Productions who in turn, contacted authorities...

An investigation began and was ended because the statute of limitations had expired.

My (purely) imagination has me thinking it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to think about a very young girl being extremely angry over what happened to her and the fact that no steps were taken to punish the offender.

Again, that's just my thoughts/guess.
