14. We are a country of judgmental bullies.

It's laughable to claim that our country is "tolerant" or in any way modern when hate-mongers are obsessed with how everybody else around them is living their life. Their whole attitude is, "Look at those (gays, poor people, Liberals etc.) - I'm so much better than them! They're going to hell, and I'm going to heaven!" We have one segment of this country that wants to go forward, and another segment that wants to bring us back into the dark ages.

It's time to grow up and act like adults - a concept completely foreign to many in this country.
