The bottom line is that it is not wrong to wait until the final proposal is reviewed before trashing it. The US interest in the TPP is clearly about reforming trade pacts, even to the point of requiring signatories to allow workers in their countries to unionize.
Now, I have not seen any mechanism to enforce such things. So I am not a pro-TPP person.
However, I do not believe that Obama and HRC, who have always been pro-labor and trade skeptics, have done a 180 and are now out to screw unions and working people. ESPECIALLY when being a populist is the easiest road to take right now.
I just think the constant refrain to that effect is indicative of people posting here that have no clue what they are actually talking about. YMMV.
