43. The last few years, the Tampa Bay Times (formerly St. Pete Times) has turned into a shit rag paper.

Their political editor is a little republican dweeb asshole named Adam Smith. He's the one that Alan Grayson called a "shitting robot". That was putting it kindly.

A few years ago, they ran a fabricated republican story against a friend of mine in a congressional race. They claimed our candidate took a swing at the congresswomans husband. It was a blatant lie, and they refused to print a retraction. Then a couple of years later, they repeated the same bullshit story again in an article about the husbands death (cancer).

I ran another race where they continually downplayed and omitted my candidates credentials and qualifications for office (Schools Supt)
and refused to cover the race unless she started attacking her opponent or did something controversial.

They used to be a fairly liberal paper, then a change at the top, and they took a decided right-wing slant.
