8. What good can come from purposefully offending people?

I understand disagreeing with someone's point of view or beliefs. But mocking, insulting and provoking others is unnecessary and feels like nothing more than bullying to me. In my experience, people who are incessantly bullied often times strike back in inappropriate and disproportional ways when aggression against them is not held in check.

Clearly it is too late to dial it back. I fear for everyone affected by this - both those provoking and those grievously offended.
