(8,352 posts)She has experience in the House? But she was never a congresswoman, just a staff member of the Judiciary Committee during a single trial.
She was a lawyer, so now she is a small business owner? I mean how many damned lawyers have we had as senators and reps. Were they all small business owners? Hell Rand Paul is an MD. So he must be a small business owner as well.
Well she really wasn't ever a corporate executive but hey she did serve on the board of Walmart. That is close enough.
The most damning with faint praise last area is that several instances of her experience are directly tied to her husband as both governor and President. All of his successes may now be her successes but also all of his mistakes are now her mistakes.
This piece suggests that she is the best qualified because she has a little bit here and a little bit there. She has her husband's successes and failures. And some is just a wee bit of a stretch.
Really, the writer could have talked about her time in the Senate and as SoS, and even if it didn't make her the 'best qualified' in history, it might have been a better focus on her policies and positions.
Hell as it stands it is just a puff piece with a bit of bullshit and ample justification for those of us who oppose her to say that yes, Bill's policies and governing ARE Hillary's policies and governing. I don't think I would be pushing this article too much if I was a Clinton supporter.
