be done as early as possible. It's crucial for every Democratic candidate to have strong support from those demographic groups. Candidates who ignore that do so at their own risk. Hillary Clinton understands that, and has demonstrated it by hiring advisers and campaign leaders from every ethnic and demographic group. Experience in campaigning is a plus in primary elections.

I'm sure the other candidates are aware of this need, as well. It's very early in the primary race.
