19. Our society enables sociopaths from the get go

--it's no wonder what kind of society results from our dog eat dog childhood. Few teachers or parents even know how to handle bullies, they just step back as if it's a fact of life and accepted ingredient of our world. And I guess that is a big part of the problem, that there is not enough of a directive or value imprinted on us from a young age--for the strong to protect the weak. That it is much more noble and virtuous for large sized people, older kids--not to mention elders--to look after kids who are being picked on!!! What ever happened to that???
